just enjoy the show

Does anyone remember when i mentioned going to the opera back in mid-meets-early April?
Because i hardly do. Anyways, i never put up pictures on account of not taking any. Well, Sinead's amazing father took some, and the following images were posted up on Facebook not so long back.

Now yes, i do realise that the pictures look 90% alike, but that's alright, because we still look hot. From left to right, we have Sinead, Vanessa, myself, and Hannah. At approximately 4 o'clock we all arrived at Sinead's for tea, and to dress up together. Possibly the best two things about being a teenage girl. As we all marched into Sinead's room, dresses in hand, we found a bag from... Zarah's I believe, and a card for our dear friend. Long story short, earlier that day her father drove for an hour into town to buy a dress that she had tried on a few months earlier(three to be exact), drove another hour back home so that it would be home for her, and left it as a wonderful surprise. Us all being emotional girls at times, that left us all with tears. Vanessa's dress was made by the oh so talented Hannah, a future fashion designer that I plan on having coffee and such with from time to time, that and eyeing some people we see around town. Well, Hannah didn't completely make it, but she did alter it quite a bit. For quite a while Vanessa has been wanting an old lady floral dress, but altered. Like the above. My dress is quite old actually. I bought this... well my mother bought this for me in the seventh grade for a school dance. That was the first, and up until April fourteenth, was the only time this dress had been worn in public. A large number of close friends weren't exactly fans of the fancy wear, but I still adore the large buttons, and vintage feel I receive when wearing it. Now, Hannah, she was wearing a lovely figure skating dress actually. It's quite short, so my apologies for it going unnoticed in the picture. Her shoes were too cute though, alas they are much to hard to explain. Before we walked into the Theatre, we walked through downtown all dressed up and fancy looking for a nice spot for dinner. We settled with this cute little Tai (?) restaurant.
