the rules of attraction.

Last night Steph and i Watched The Rules of Attraction(2002). We were slightly skeptical at first, the only reason we watched it at all, being Ian Somerhalder. It turned out to be on of those movies, 'the best movie of all time' sort of thing. We both laughed a ridiculous amount, and just... "oh my god this movie is so amazing". I recommend that everyone watches it as soon as possible, meaning right now. It reminds me of Fight Club, in the way that everything is so crazily accurate. There's one character (it might have been our boy Ian, actually), who would often just think to himself, in the way the main character of Fight Club does. Ironicaly, actress Shannyn Sossamon, looks alot like Helena Bonham Carter, who played Marla Singer in Fight Club. I'm hoping that the two of us watch the movie again some time this week, since i missed about half of it. Okay, so i didn't miss it exactly, it was just too much to comprehend. It was just such a klusterfuck.

Tia and i went into town today to do some Christmas shopping, and i ended up with some boots. I also found this cute little Disney Princess Magic Wand, which i know will end up being nothing less of irritating. I found it hilarious, partly, and mostly because Tia hated it, which made her smile. It's pink, with a heart on top, with a picture of Snow White, and a heart shaped button that makes a magic noise. I'm pretty sure that i had one like it when i was four, so i couldn't say no.

I don't know what to wear with the boots tomorrow! I'm thinking a skirt (of course!), and blue knee high socks. It's still pretty cold out though, so i may freeze like that. Also, i'm not sure where exactly the socks are. Poo.

DLFKSDFG YES YES YES

btw, i'm deffs gettin these boots asap.

nothing excites me more than winning a game of solitaire.

I didn't go to school today, my throat hurts much too much for that. I was planning on going for the last two blocks of the day (Art 11, and AP English), but i slept until 1, and Art started at 12:50, so it seemed basically pointless. My Throat still hurts, but the 13 hours of sleep i had last night did help. Honestly, i was a little surprised by the time when i woke up, but i was half expecting to have slept through the school day.
Last night/mostly this morning i suppose, i had numerous odd dreams. I ran away from home in the...50's? Maybe, i'm not sure what exactly the decade was, but i saw everything in sepia, and we lived on a farm. Me and some friends drove off in our VW beetle, which was rusty and silver. As we were driving, we wound up downtown, and in modern day time. We turned off on a side road, and met another runaway lady. We hung out with her for some time, and left i suppose.
Next i was with Tia, and we drove from her place, to my place, which is approximately 6 houses down the road. We still had the rusty, old beetle, and an older (homeless?) man. We didn't think anyone was home, my home, and i ran inside to grab some clothes, we were running away again. I went inside, and saw my mother, my aunt, and Lacey in the kitchen. I was completely surprised that anyone was home, but mother was angry about something, so she didn't pay much attention to me.
"Can i hang out with Tia...?"
"Sure."
I got back into the car, and explained that she was home, so i couldn't grab any clothes, or food.
My next little dream segment made a little more sense. I was in Super Store with Bri, and trying to find some tights. A worker came to help us out, and directed us to the socks, trying to sell us something besides what we wanted. Typical. Eventually the two of us found what we wanted by ourselves, but i couldn't find the right shade of yellow. I'm craving a pare of deep yellow tights, but in my dream, Super Store only had neon yellow, and a light, eastery yellow. This was more realistic because yesterday Bri and I went to Super Store in search of some things, tights being among them. Sadly, i was unable to find any that weren't for three year olds.
Somehow i don't remember much else from last night, which is slightly depressing. Dreams are always exciting.

and today was a day just like any other.

Well, i'm sorry to say i've seemed to have lost almost all interest in this blog. My life have been more or less fucked up in the past month and a bit, and well... i've been too busy living my life, to write about it. Something i know that i'll regret, seeing as i tend to forget unless i write it down. I was temporarily kicked out for about a week, then my mother 'forgot', i suppose. Now i "live here, so i should stay here," personally i think that's bullshit though. I do have a couple of pictures from October, and... one(?) from the most part of November, that has already started. I doubt anyone is interested in it, but that's alright.

There was a U2/Black Eyed Peas concert a couple of weeks ago, i went to it, with my mother. Originally (months and months ago), she was supposed to go with her hubby, but then some shit came up, and i went instead. It was pretty fun, we had floor tickets, although it took 4 workers to tell us that, idiots. Then we had to go through 3 more blue vested foreigners, and teenagers to actually get to the floor. I have no idea what that was all about, but it was pretty dumb. No offence to my mum, but i don't ever recommend going to a concert with a mother, especially not if it's yours. And especially not if you love to dance, mosh, and go crazy, because most moms don't like doing said activity, apparently. Also, maybe it's just mine, but she was slightly crazy over this guy who was "sliming" me, even though i didn't notice it. But apparently he was "rubbing up against me the entire time," then again, we were on the floor.

It took us 45 minutes to get from the stadium to our hotel, by then it was 2am, this included stopping at a 711 so i could get a slushie (i thought it was a smart idea at the time,) and my mum could get a microwave burger. We arrive, freezing and wet, it turns out the heater in our room is broken, and i forgot pajamas. boo. We were forced to awake at 5am, and catch a 6:30 ferry back to the island, this way my mum could pic up Noah and Lacey from their grandparents' house. I'm not sure why exactly, but i figured "what the hell?", and went to school. I always tend to do that, when Noah was born, i was woken up at midnight, went back to bed around 4, and insisted on going to school that day. I was in the 4th grade, btw.

I'm not sure, but i believe it was the beginning of October when i met a nice lady named Kristy. She sold me a brilliant breast cancer tshirt, and told me she would be willing to sell some of my things, depending on the quality. She soon sent me a message on facebook, although i still haven't replied, due to stupid reasons. Well, pretty much i never uploaded pictures of that blue dress i meddled with over the summer, and that was all i really had to show her. I just uploaded it along with some images for this post, so maybe i'll reply tonight, letting her know i'm not ridiculously immature for not responding to a business offer. Anyways, this is the breast cancer shirt she designed, and how i wore it.

I found the cutest dress, ever, at The Patch in October. It's a cream colour, with a peculiar lace. I didn't notice until after i bought it, and was sitting in English class playing with the hem, that the lace looks like millions of little spider webs. Too cute! I believe it was later on that night when i came upon the John Patrick (organic) Fall Collection on my search for some good fall fashion. My feet are always wet, cold, and i never have anything good for current weather conditions. Damn i'm unprepared. Anyways, i'm absolutely in love with the outfit on the right, in the 5th picture down. I attempted to reconstruct it with whatever clothes i could find laying in my dirty pile. (Pretty much everything was in the dirty pile at that moment, i still need to do laundry actually). My lace dress almost reminds me of the black lace dress to the left, also in the 5th image down. The last outfit is something i know i'll be wearing more than i should. That turtle neck is just so comfortable, and perfect for fall! I still adore that skirt more than nearly anything, and it goes with practically everything.

Holy crap, so i just realised it's 11:30 pm, and i have school tomorrow, as i do every other Monday. Although this past week i've received next to no sleep with the hockey tournament. We lost all of out games btw. I'll hopefully continue this tomorrow, although likely not.

Good night!
