sneek into your house tonight.

So basically, A)i'm back, B)the hockey playoffs sucked, and C)i was correct, i did get new clothes.
I wasn't supposed to, because we're kinda low on money at the moment, damn recession. But, i left school early on friday morning/afternoon for a 3pm game(Its a 3 or so hour drive), and my family didn't leave home till...6pm-ish? Thus, not arriving at the hotel till 8/9 pm. As soon as they arrived my mother called me up in a friend's hotel room, to explain that we were going shopping. On account of her forgetting all of my things.
Thank god for walmart.
For a whopping total of approximately $133.00 we were able to buy...
1 vintage looking coat, which makes me feel like a french revolution girl
1 pair of skinny jeans, which are a tad too big, but in the good way
1 white Tshirt, but its kinda frilly, and girlie looking
4 pairs of uber cute undies
1 red bra
1 tube of toothpaste(Kiss Me Mint), which just happens to taste like cough syrup
and, while i was brushing, i was thinking to myself
"Wow, i dont think anyones going to want to kiss me after this"
2 deodorants (strawberry, and some vanilla stuff, tres yummy!)
6? pairs of socks(But they came in a package)
and...well a bunch of other stuff, but i dont exactly remember what,
my apologies!
Pictures will honestly be posted this time, i promise!
...I'm just not sure how long it will take. I still havn't been able to put last pictures up. :(

Sail on silvergirl, Sail on by. Your time has come to shine.

What a horrible blogger am i? I mean to come on here more often, really i do. Though, turns out the batteries i horded for the camera, weren't exactly fully charged, thus they are now dead. I'm quite disappointed about this actually, Tuesday was the highlight of my week fashion wise, helloooo 40's nurse! I would promise to get them on after school today (At the moment i am in the school library, waiting for my ride), but i have a hockey tournament. Road trip! Jessica, Kelsey and I are all heading up for the 3/4 hour drive to Port Alberni. So, alas, there will be nothing new till next week.
The past week has been so hectic! I've been hanging out with old friends, and new friends, and some old friends that are just becoming better. Although sadly, old good friends are no longer so. High school is so complicated! I remember the days of elementary school, and even middle school when all i wanted was to get here, and to grow up. Not that i'm complaining about this time and age, but i just expected this to be less... grown up, or maybe more grown up even. The drama, is tres ridiculous

You run and tell your friends that you're leaving me, They say that they don't see what you see in me.

So basically..... EMILY IS BACK!
She hopped up and went to Greece for spring break, and came back with this A-mazing shirt, for moi! It makes me feel like an old candy stripes girl, meets 40's nurse... well with what I'm wearing it with on Tuesday it does. Pictures shall be posted! She got back Saturday morning around one am, and today she came over, but first had to come chill for the remainder of my hockey practice. When she first got there Jessica and i skated over to the board at full speed, and started screaming. That's right, screaming for Emily. She just laughed at us. It was quite the joyous event. For those who don't know, Emily is my favourite ginger of all time. She makes the best lesbian jokes, and i make the best ginger jokes, and whenever Zalina is around, we make the best black jokes.

Also, on Saturday i decided to make a quick stop in Sally Ann, and i found myself this cute little phone in the most gorgeous shade of teal possible, that silk scarf that isn't so visible on my head, and a light cream barret. Funny thing about that "cute little" phone, is it's not so little, i hadn't noticed that until i had to switch phones mid phone call, it was a funny feeling. Its actually quite...large, haha.

Moi, ft. my new phone.Emily ft. my new phone.
And here is the oh so fabulous shirt from Emily in action. With the famous jumper, and my lovely red trench, from Costa Blanka a couple years back. When i first got this bad boy, i surprisingly didn't wear it all that much, then for almost a year it was hidden in the back of my closet collecting dust. Just this year...well last November i believe it was taken out once again.
That's right, i also have one of these necklaces...well actually i have two, but the other is black, and has more a little girl's silhouette.
Emily has a trench too! Her's is white, and from Greece!

well isn't she just darling?

So, i've found the best, and newest way of continuing my life perfectly...(Drum roll please)photos! I have been going camera crazy lately, its lovely! Here's today's outfit, and a cute little profile picture...well almost, on the side. The vest, woo, now lets talk about that for uno momento shall we? I have been looking for a cute boy vest for well...basically ever, back in December i found one, but it didn't look...right. This one, is navy blue, with pinstripes on the front, and navy silk on the back, yours truly found this lovely things for a whopping $6.29 at Salvation Army yesterday, literally moments after the hair cut. Yesterday was a good day! Jeans are American Eagle-*GASP*-I know right? Just in case this is unknown for most, which it likely is, for the past...well year or so, i've had such a detest for American eagle, but i found these old baggy jeans in the back of my closet today, and i couldn't resist. Plaid shirt is Stitches - what's this? Something she's actually bought that isn't pre-owned? Shocker eh? Lastly the scarf is Walmart, the department store to end all department stores.
BTW, i apologize for the mess in my room, in case no one has noticed yet, i'm not good for cleanliness. If someone hadn't noticed this already, then someone needs to get their eyes checked! ;)
WAIT, i also just got a new laundry hamper! Now, i do now that has little, or nothing to do with fashion, but it is in the photo, and i would just like to show it off. See that checkered box in the corner? Now mine for only $29.99 from Winner's! That little box may just save my life, my previous laundry basket, was pretty much Tupperware.
Okay, now this is the last little segment, i promise! See that little girl in the corner of the last photo? The one holding enough balloons to potentially lift her up and carry her away? Well, that's me! Happy 5th(?) sweetie! I was such a cute little girl, wait! No, i'm still cute, right? Right?!

technology will be the end of us all.

Alright, well remember a week or so ago when i was putting up a weeks worth of pictures, when my camera went and died?Well problem solved! I went on a rampage earlier today(Which was really yesterday because its past 12am) in search of batteries, and lucky me, i found em! So, from my computer, to yours, here are that week's daily outfits!
Now, remember when even longer back, a month or so actually, when i bought that blue coat from Gap, the white blazer, and the black with white polka-dot dress? The dress with the pictures that i was unable to take? See, now you know what i'm getting at eh? True Canadian BTW, with my eh and everything.
Any who, i've finally taken the photos of that dress, worn by Lisa, my mannequin. That's right! I finally got her, no less than 2 months late, but shes still here!(Lisa was supposed to be my birthday present, which was in early January, but we got her off EBay, so lots of complications) Also, i named her Lisa, all by myself, so no she did not come pre-named like Cabbage Patch Kids. (Mine is name Elizabeth, IS, not WAS, because i still have her) So here is the dress, as seen on Lisa, and here is the bow! So yes, i am obviously quite, very excited about being able to use a camera once again.
ALSO.Excuse the fact that my hair is much shorter than it was a couple weeks ago, but-i got my hair cut today! Doesn't it look simply fabulous? Wow, i'm so glad i was finally able to get those pictures up, Hannah, i promise to bring your shirt back ASAP!

If I was five, I would have been pinched today.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Dare to wear the foolish clown face.

From the original clown appearance in 1805, by Joseph Grimalidi, also know as Joey, to the runway so many years later, one thing is for sure-boy has the clown look evolved! When Joseph, or Joey was performing his tricks on England's streets, i'm sure he wasn't thinking about the fashion he could create in two-hundred odd years.
THE CLOWN.Fashion has always been a circus, literally. Mind you, banish the thoughts of over the done make up on men, red noses, and one piece button up suits. Though, keep in mind the gorgeous bright colours shoes, frilly skirts, and don't forget to play up the bright red lipstick, though, stay in the lines, mind you. Now is the time to play up the designs from the Commes des Garcons S/S 08, and experiment with the colours and proportions.
THE HARLEQUIN. Always the brightest of the middle ages, and back again bigger, brighter and shinier. Though, the oh-so famous cap 'n' bell hat i'm sure, is going to stay back in the middle ages. There's more to it than the rainbow triangles here, though that is still my main focus. I'm absolutely loving the diversity in colour and shape, the largest triangles at her shoulders, and the smallest at the end of the garment. Also, giving the model a more natural look with her makeup looks truly fabulous, especially with the bright red lipstick, there is no way to ever go wrong with a pop of red! This design is from the Miu Miu S/S 08 show, bravo!
I've had this clown for as long as i can remember, so a minimum of 11 years, possibly longer. I'm pretty sure that i got him from my Nana way back when. He sits up on top of my computer now, scaring all my clown-a-phobia friends(Coulrophobia). He doesn't have a name yet though, any suggestions?
This is my newest little clown added to the now large number of two clown items. I bought her at Salvation Army today, for a whopping price of 49 cents! I've decided to name her Lucy. "Lucy in the sky, with diamonds", sorry, i watched Across the Universe, and Chapter 27 yesterday, so there's a bit of a Beatles theme going through my mind at the moment. Lucy will also spend her days perched up on my computer moniter.

Spring Break 09 Baby.

Again, with the horrible blogging, and again, i am so sorry! The whole, no working camera available thing has really screwed me over. See, i do have a camera, but the charger has been missing since November '08, and my mother's camera(That's right, i have stooped so low) uses batteries, which died. So, thus no pictures, which means no pictures to write about. So i'm sure you see my dilemma.
Anyways, its spring break, which should mean beaches and bikinis, or well...considering its Canada, at least pools and bikinis. Okay, well i suppose we could go to the pool, if it would stop snowing for a day. That's right. It's been snowing. It started last Tuesday i believed, and was the major dump then, it was on and off for a while, then we looked outside, and there was a minimum of 6 inches on the school field. Really now, its not that easy to look amazing in winter gear, many designers have failed, and some have succeeded. Mind you, most designers choose to use fur, which automatically ruins the design.
Example 1 of an outfit that would be bad, with or without the fur. This is from the London Fashion Week 2008-2009, designed by Julian McDonald. I honestly don't know what he was thinking. The hood, is...well it would look descent with the bow, i am a fan for bows. But it is a teeny bit too big. The gloves are either a leather, or some..shiny material of some sort, which i really don't enjoy. Lastly the fur...well i don't think i really need to say anything of the fur, but i will just because i'm already on a rant. Its neon orange fur, neon! It strangely Oompa-Loompa meets Hephalump from Winnie the Pooh.

Alex Chung on the right and... uh...friend. That's right, i really have no idea who is with her, i'm thinking Kelly Osborn, but not sure. You all will have no idea how long i spent googling and searching to find out with her, but no site, blog or anything mentions the other gorgeous girl there with her, so add this the the list. I'm loving the way Alex has put this vintage blazer over a beautiful dress to give it a more vintage feel. And yet, it doesn't ruin the elegance. Also loving her gal pal's black (velvet?) dress, with the crinoline around the neck, and at the bottom of the dress creating the frills. This photograph is from the London Fashion Week '08-'09, at the Luella Catwalk Show.
