you look like a cheap prostitute, why are you wearing that?

I'm tired, it's late, hence no time for writing at all. What a loss. Yes i did receive an amazing camera for Christmas, but i lost it somewhere last Saturday(which was my birthday, by the way). Don't worry, it is somewhere in my house, last seen on my couch. But for now i'm using the "take a picture!" option on tumblr. Oh yes, and i've made one of those now, too. See, blogging there is easier than blogging here, make sense?
Today i was going for an 80's (slutt) vibe, i was told i succeeded. This skirt has been seen many times, though you can't really tell from the (poorly lit) photo. It's that black (almost)empire waist skirt with the white polka-dots. You know the one. This shirt i found at the Garage last summer-$5! I haven't worn these amazingly sexy white thigh-high socks since hallowe'en, i was Velma. The floral vest is a semi-recent find, i found this at the salvation army a week or so before Christmas, it was around $3.97.
There's this boy who goes to me school, i don't have the faintest clue as to what his name is, i just call him "80's boy with the purple mow hawk." Today i felt as if i could pass for his 'bff'. Trust me, it's a good feeling

While waiting for the bus (which ended up not even going down my road today) i bit my tongue, it started bleeding. i was afraid they'd have to sew it shut.

who's there, who is, stoppin for a visit? is that you santa claus?

Christmas is in two sleeps, and i'm ridiculously excited. Tonight i found out that i'll be receiving a pink plush housecoat, and i'm pumped. In my defence i was not snooping, it was behind the couch, which isn't even next to a wall; not very well hidden. I'm hoping that my mother will see this, and let me have it now, enabling me to wear it all day tomorrow. I dyed my hair today, it's so dark, darker than i planned, or wanted, but it's nice. Close to black, which is slightly weird only because i'm 99% sure i dyed my hair a year ago today with the exact same stuff. Shortly after starting my hair i was nervous about not having nearly enough dye. Once all of my hair was finished, i was still left with half a bottle. I used the rest of it as hair gel, putting my hair in funny shapes.

Next to no makeup today. I only got dressed around 4:30 for a short trip to the Salvation Army, i still need winter clothes! I told my mum that i was hoping for some winter dresses, and she practically begged me to wait till Christmas - i wonder what else i'll be unwrapping Friday morning. Sadly, as usual there were hardly any dresses at the local Sally Ann, although i did find a cute 90's vest for $3, and a wool coat for $7. My new coat is gray, much too big for me, missing a pocket, and my mother says that it makes me look homeless. I absolutely love it. Also, my response to her shot at my coat was "you look homeless," brilliant Shaelee, brilliant.

Also i've made a daily booth, it's so much fun. It kinda like twitter, only for photo's.

He sees how quick the water's rising as another raindrop lands.

New skirt! This outfit is from last Sunday, though i wore it to school today also, but with black pumps. This shirt is somewhat old (the last of my scene days) and the skirt i bought last Saturday at the Salvation Army for 4 dollars! I also found some amazing disco boots which shall be used during final projects night this... June?
Pictures will not be posted until after the show, it's going to be a surprise for anyone and everyone that is not part of the production.
That's right-hair cut! I got my bangs cut last Tuesday (a week ago right now) by my friend Billy. He's in the hair program at one of the high schools, and just bought his scissors. I figured 'what the hell' and put my hair in his hands. I wanted my bangs a little bit longer, but i don't mind them like this. I feel very Katy Perry. I've spent the past couple of days going to the glasses store in town trying to get my sunglasses fixed. Sadly on Saturday's they are only open till 1:30 in the afternoon (ridiculous right?!), and on Sunday's they just don't open.
Last Sunday was our last sunny day of the week i suppose. It was cloudy all yesterday, and i'm nearly positive that there was a slight drizzle. Today it was a flat out down pour 80% of the day. Also tres ridiculous. The weather report claimed that there would be 'slight rain' this week. Apparently not, art class was nearly horrifying, there are skylights in our art class that were being pounded on.
Considering i have new pictures up, i'm sure everyone has come to the same conclusion - i have the camera back. Mother dearest doesn't use it at all and i'm the one who bought batteries. So currently, i consider it to be mine.

You run and tell your friends that you're leaving me, They say that they don't see what you see in me.

So basically..... EMILY IS BACK!
She hopped up and went to Greece for spring break, and came back with this A-mazing shirt, for moi! It makes me feel like an old candy stripes girl, meets 40's nurse... well with what I'm wearing it with on Tuesday it does. Pictures shall be posted! She got back Saturday morning around one am, and today she came over, but first had to come chill for the remainder of my hockey practice. When she first got there Jessica and i skated over to the board at full speed, and started screaming. That's right, screaming for Emily. She just laughed at us. It was quite the joyous event. For those who don't know, Emily is my favourite ginger of all time. She makes the best lesbian jokes, and i make the best ginger jokes, and whenever Zalina is around, we make the best black jokes.

Also, on Saturday i decided to make a quick stop in Sally Ann, and i found myself this cute little phone in the most gorgeous shade of teal possible, that silk scarf that isn't so visible on my head, and a light cream barret. Funny thing about that "cute little" phone, is it's not so little, i hadn't noticed that until i had to switch phones mid phone call, it was a funny feeling. Its actually quite...large, haha.

Moi, ft. my new phone.Emily ft. my new phone.
And here is the oh so fabulous shirt from Emily in action. With the famous jumper, and my lovely red trench, from Costa Blanka a couple years back. When i first got this bad boy, i surprisingly didn't wear it all that much, then for almost a year it was hidden in the back of my closet collecting dust. Just this year...well last November i believe it was taken out once again.
That's right, i also have one of these necklaces...well actually i have two, but the other is black, and has more a little girl's silhouette.
Emily has a trench too! Her's is white, and from Greece!

technology will be the end of us all.

Alright, well remember a week or so ago when i was putting up a weeks worth of pictures, when my camera went and died?Well problem solved! I went on a rampage earlier today(Which was really yesterday because its past 12am) in search of batteries, and lucky me, i found em! So, from my computer, to yours, here are that week's daily outfits!
Now, remember when even longer back, a month or so actually, when i bought that blue coat from Gap, the white blazer, and the black with white polka-dot dress? The dress with the pictures that i was unable to take? See, now you know what i'm getting at eh? True Canadian BTW, with my eh and everything.
Any who, i've finally taken the photos of that dress, worn by Lisa, my mannequin. That's right! I finally got her, no less than 2 months late, but shes still here!(Lisa was supposed to be my birthday present, which was in early January, but we got her off EBay, so lots of complications) Also, i named her Lisa, all by myself, so no she did not come pre-named like Cabbage Patch Kids. (Mine is name Elizabeth, IS, not WAS, because i still have her) So here is the dress, as seen on Lisa, and here is the bow! So yes, i am obviously quite, very excited about being able to use a camera once again.
ALSO.Excuse the fact that my hair is much shorter than it was a couple weeks ago, but-i got my hair cut today! Doesn't it look simply fabulous? Wow, i'm so glad i was finally able to get those pictures up, Hannah, i promise to bring your shirt back ASAP!

Dare to wear the foolish clown face.

From the original clown appearance in 1805, by Joseph Grimalidi, also know as Joey, to the runway so many years later, one thing is for sure-boy has the clown look evolved! When Joseph, or Joey was performing his tricks on England's streets, i'm sure he wasn't thinking about the fashion he could create in two-hundred odd years.
THE CLOWN.Fashion has always been a circus, literally. Mind you, banish the thoughts of over the done make up on men, red noses, and one piece button up suits. Though, keep in mind the gorgeous bright colours shoes, frilly skirts, and don't forget to play up the bright red lipstick, though, stay in the lines, mind you. Now is the time to play up the designs from the Commes des Garcons S/S 08, and experiment with the colours and proportions.
THE HARLEQUIN. Always the brightest of the middle ages, and back again bigger, brighter and shinier. Though, the oh-so famous cap 'n' bell hat i'm sure, is going to stay back in the middle ages. There's more to it than the rainbow triangles here, though that is still my main focus. I'm absolutely loving the diversity in colour and shape, the largest triangles at her shoulders, and the smallest at the end of the garment. Also, giving the model a more natural look with her makeup looks truly fabulous, especially with the bright red lipstick, there is no way to ever go wrong with a pop of red! This design is from the Miu Miu S/S 08 show, bravo!
I've had this clown for as long as i can remember, so a minimum of 11 years, possibly longer. I'm pretty sure that i got him from my Nana way back when. He sits up on top of my computer now, scaring all my clown-a-phobia friends(Coulrophobia). He doesn't have a name yet though, any suggestions?
This is my newest little clown added to the now large number of two clown items. I bought her at Salvation Army today, for a whopping price of 49 cents! I've decided to name her Lucy. "Lucy in the sky, with diamonds", sorry, i watched Across the Universe, and Chapter 27 yesterday, so there's a bit of a Beatles theme going through my mind at the moment. Lucy will also spend her days perched up on my computer moniter.
