i hope it's gonna make you notice, someone like me.

Now, before I write anything of much importance, i need to apologise in behalf of
the month of July. I don't have a good excuse for posting twice before now, though
I would like to believe that I have good reason at least. As previously mentioned, I
was grounded for two weeks, well I also broke my computer monitor in the process
of moving it from one side of my room to another. So now I no longer have access to
that computer, or my photos. My mother does typing, it's her job. Thus she needs this
computer at about all times.
Because of being the nerd that I am, I needed to see the new Harry Potter movie, the day
it came out. That lucky Thursday the 16th, i was let out on 'parole' to go see it. I also
finished the dress that I was working on. Although, that night I was swept off my feet
until the following Tuesday (the 21st) for working duties. Lastly, the past week was spent
blowing my hard earned money on cute clothes. Sadly, picture's weren't taken, but I
promise to take some 'after' pictures, just because I can.

To the point, doesn't everyone have that one 'bike' that they're too ashamed of to
actually learn to ride, or even ride in public for that matter? Because I know I do. I've
had the same red bike since the summer after 5th grade, it also has flat tires. Here's my
bright idea.
Really now, who doesn't want one of these? I've been absolutely dyeing for one for the past couple of years, sadly they're all $300 and up, give or take. Imagine how good it would feel riding across the bridge, an empire waist, flowing skirt, low rise converse, a rusty old red, or blue bike.
Simply a picture perfect image in my mind!

I am the only one that thinks I'm going crazy?

Would it be wrong to admit to everyone that last Thursday (July 9th in B.C. time) was the first time since last Sunday (a week ago today) that I got dressed?... or showered for that matter? In my defence, I knew for a fact that I would not be leaving the house, or really my own bedroom for that matter, so I didn't see it of any importance to get out of my Care Bear pajama shorts, or my "IS IT TOO LATE TO BE NICE?" (Christmas) pajama shirt. Oh, and...by the way, my hair wasn't actually that frizzy, I did just get back from a walk (with an extremely hot temperature), but no, it definitely wasn't that bad.

I've spent the most part of the past week playing Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon (both of which are Gamecube games), watching the first season of Supernatural on DVD - don't worry, I start the 2nd later tonight- aaaaand, fixing old clothes.
The first of the line of clothing articles that have been fixed in the past week are a pair of red shorts - which used to be red skinny jeans, back in the scene days- that I wore to Pride Parade '09 last Sunday. That's the mane reason for my being stuck at home for the past (and next) week, I'm grounded. I haven't taken an 'after' picture yet, and technically I didn't take a 'before' one either, though i do have one from the day i bought them... a year-and-a-half ago. So, they are much faded now.
Next is an old polo that i bought for about 4 dollars at Off The Wall, for before school shopping about two years ago (that would be going into 8th grade by the way). I'm pretty sure that I only wore the tee once or twice, so if worst came to worst, I just wouldn't ever wear it again. Luckily for me, it turned out amazing, and so I wore it today to VOLKSFEST, and another old car show in town, it was lovely. Well... not counting the weather, for the first time all week, it wasn't about 30 odd degrees.
Alright well... there's the 'before' of the polo, and see right down there? That's what I wore today, and there's the shirt. Any feedback?
What i'm working on now -obviously- isn't done yet. It's a cute old dress that I thrifted for a couple of dollars from this old thrift shop. It's not done yet -I still need to obtain a (hopefully) white zipper- but whenever I think about it, a cat of impossible colour's one dress from early May comes to mind. Although, now that I actually look at it, the two dresses have nothing more in common besides the obvious -they're both dresses.
Today a very close family friend gave me a watch, he told me that my mother gave it to him about 10 years ago (I would have been about 5), and that it likely cost about 4, maybe $500, so I better not lose it. It represents family, and sacrificing for those that you love, I mean the people who you really, really love. Not just the ones that you say you do, but you really, truly do, the people in your life who you would give anything for, and hopefully they would do anything for you too. Those people, are the ones that everyone should keep close to them, and never stop letting them know how much you need them,

A 'new' camera also came into my possession today, it once belonged to my... Nana's boyfriend? I suppose my uncle has had it for the past 15 odd years, moving it from house to house, now that he has come up with some financial troubles, hes just sending boxes of his old stuff to the dump, this camera being one of them. Yeah, I was appalled too. I guess my mum got it from him before it was too late, and just remembered to give it to me today. Finally! Life is complete! I have a late 70's - meets early 80's Nikon EM camera. Yes, hippie strap is most definitely included.

P.S. Dear cat, what does one do when the LOML no longer... has the same idea?

Happy Canada Day eh(?)!

Well, today being July first, it's Canada day, yippee! Earlier this morning I was thinking about how odd "America Day" would sound, then I realised that they don't call it that. It's "The Fourth of July", which is also just odd in my opinion. Being Canadian I suppose that i should be wearing some red in order to be patriotic, but I'm not. I don't have time to take a picture before I go to bed, so here's some from the festivities. My apologies for the outcome.
Ellie and I, the black thing is Lee's coat, kinda screws up the point of this.Alright well....despite this being an utterly horrible picture, this shows my outfit the best. I didn't plan on wearing the sweater though, or any sweater at all through out the day, being July it's usually warm all night long.
This is Emily! We're pretty close, she did steal my glasses though. ;)

I know what they want, and I know they don't want me to stay.

I'm sorry, but I don't feel like writing today. I have the hiccups, nothing
to wear, nothing to do, and lots of food, but no hunger. Today is a bad summer
day, although technically, it is a good summer day. It's about 16 degrees out,
not too hot, but nice enough to go in the water, but I don't have anyone to
go with, or anything to wear. I'm not prepared for summer.

the sun blends in...

What to do in a dilemma? The other day I thrifted an amazing light purple blazer..for only a couple dollars. It was missing a button, and when I was trying it on..another fell off. I kept that one, but none the less, I'm still missing one button. I..automatically sewed on the button that I was smart enough to keep, but now ..what to do? I went through my jar of buttons - that's right, jar of buttons - and I.. came up with button A, B, and C. What do you all think?
Button A, for those who are unable to see it very well, it is dark purple, with light purple swirls. The swirls are somewhat close to the same colour as the coat.
Button B; extremely dark purple on the edges, almost black really, with bright pink on the inside.

Obviously, this would be button C. It's more light navy (if that makes sense) than purple, with marks that remind me of stitches around the edges. When I found this keeper on... Thursday(?) I also landed myself two amazing pairs of heels. Trust me, there is nothing more exciting for me, than finding shoes at used clothing stores. Having somewhat of big feet, it's near impossible. Personally, I would love to put the shoes up here for everyone to see, but once I'm done this, I need to put up a puppy post, then I have some writing to do. Ciao for now!

happiness feels a lot like sorrow.

It's officially summer! Well...for me it is, I had my last exam this morning from 9-11am.
Socials, not my forte', English definitely is though. My English exam was yesterday, and I guarantee that I aced it. Yesterday I dressed very... un me. I wore a friend's green sweater,
old baggy American Eagle jeans, and white converse. Considering today is(was?) the last time
a majority of 'friends' from school will see me, I figured that it was only necessary that I look my very best.

These are no new items, the purse I've had for years, given to me by an aunt. I've always loved this outfit, though looking at these pictures I'm noticing that it does something weird, and unnatural looking to my legs. Any comments on the subject?

i'm your biggest fan, i'll follow you until you love me.

The puppies are getting huge! Jersey is the biggest by far, I've attempted to take some picture of all three babes laying next to each other, but they wont stop moving! None of them are fitting perfectly in my one hand anymore, I'm not sure if i should be excited, or disappointed by that. Mum says that in a week or so, they'll hopefully start opening their eyes. How cute!
Remember, Dibs is all black, Jersey is black and white, and Monroe is brown and white.

Oh Chloe, your becoming a true parent again! Only paying attention when other people are around.

People have been asking me if I was going to have kids, and I had puppies instead.

in the cold you look so fierce, but i’m warm enough

Congratulate me everyone-I have bought my first pair of sandals, that is if the flip-flops
I got the summer after grade seven don't count. I only wore them two or three times though,
so they shouldn't. Because I tend to be cheap, I bought these for about twelve dollars at WalMart, which I think is a pretty good catch. Despite the slight blistering between my big toe,
and 'pointer' toe, all worked out well.
Now, most friends know the following details, but if you don't actually know me, are aren't a
very close friend, you wont. So bare yourself for these new details. I have a bit of a
horror with feet, I've always been disgusted with them, they're unattractive, tend to smell
bad, and are just... gross. I tend to hide my feet at all times, minus in pools, or any large
areas of water. But that doesn't count. Only recently I started taking my socks off inside the house, damn 30 degrees summer weather. I meant to paint my toes last night, or last minute this morning, just to make my toes as attractive as possible, but I ran out of time. Emily claimed that my feet aren't that bad, but she obviously doesn't know anything.
Here we go! Finally I was able to put in an outfit of the day, not only have I been lacking in the whole camera department, but time also. This shirt has been seen here numerous times, but the shorts are... new. They belong to a friend of mine, but she left them here Friday afternoon, so I decided to see what I could make of them. There's only a week left of school, and
then exams, plus you all know about the show that just past last week.

It came to my attention that poor Lisa hasn't been mentioned, or shown in the past while,
so here's what she has been up to. I don't have a belt... holder, or any hooks, so this is
where Lisa came in. It became tiresome having to change her wardrobe every day,
especially with not exactly having a real summer collection at the moment.
